Frequently asked questions
What couples ask us before they write. If your question isn’t here, Pamela will answer it.
Who replies and looks after us?
Pamela Leite, from the first message to the delivery of the book. She always replies, whether or not the date is free, and stays with you even when the wedding ends up being photographed by someone else.
How do we check availability?
Tell us the date and venue of your wedding, using the form, by email or by phone. Pamela confirms availability and arranges a conversation with you.
Do you pose people or set up moments?
No. At a wedding I don’t direct anyone. I follow the day quietly, as a guest, and photograph what happens.
Do you work with assistants or second shooters?
No. I always photograph the wedding myself, with no assistants and no subcontracting.
How long do you stay on the day?
From getting ready to the party, up to 14 hours. It varies from wedding to wedding.
Do you use flash or artificial intelligence?
No. I work with the light that is there and edit every photograph by hand.
How many photographs do we receive?
Between 700 and 1,200, each one edited individually.
Is the book included?
The book has a 33 cm base and I lay it out myself with the photographs of your day. We go through the details in our first conversation.
How many weddings do you photograph each year?
Few. That is what allows us to give each couple the time they need.
Do you travel?
Yes. Most weddings are in Porto and the north of Portugal, but we travel anywhere.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Many of our couples come from abroad, and every wedding story on the site is written in Portuguese and English.
